Dr. Vazquez is the founder of Cisca Pulmonary Critical Care. Born and raised in Miami, he communicates fluently in English and Spanish and grew up playing professional tennis before deciding that serving others was his calling.

He graduated in the top ten percent of his class at Nova Southeastern University, was chosen as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UF & Shands Jacksonville, and completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

Known for his enthusiasm and passion for medicine, Dr. Vazquez has been invited to speak to medical groups on asthma, pulmonary hypertension, and pulmonary rehabilitation, and was named one of Jacksonville Magazine’s Top Docs.
